Additionally, FFCA provides personalized support through clinical diagnostics and tailored learning plans, ensuring each child’s unique developmental needs are addressed. The academy also emphasizes character education, servant leadership, and community service, fostering a holistic approach to academic and personal growth while honoring the partnership with parents in the education process.

  • ICONIX Learning Clinic

    Oakdale, MN

Our team of Specialty Doctors, NeuroBehavioral Specialists, Behavioral Optometrists, and Board Certified Developmental Educators understand that all behavior is purposeful. We carefully study students' attention, physical behavior, and thinking strategies to identify where they're misaligned.

Utilizing the ICONIX learning system, we help students bring their most powerful processing and memory tools to achieve faster, more efficient, and deeper learning.

Respecting the hierarchies of human development (crawling before walking, tactile exploration before visual dominance), we've created proprietary multi-modal and multi-sensory instructional programs (utilizing some of the same tools and techniques that our college and professional athlete clients use to strengthen their performance) to help fill in the gaps of developmental need.

  • Ben Hunt - Life Elevated Movement Therapy

    Lubbock, TX

I am a Movement Therapist trained in Kinesiology - Neurokinetic Therapy (LVL3), Functional Patterns - Human Foundations, Human Biomechanics Institute, ICONIX Developmental Ophthalmology, Deep Lymphatics - Dr. Perry Nickelston, Scar Work - MSTR, and have extensive studies into Breath Work, Cold Therapy, and Quantum Biology. I use these tools to improve the connections needed for optimal and efficient pain-free movement and coherent living.

I love being outside, exploration and adventure, movement, hiking, spending time exploring with my family, playing with the kids, and learning everything I can about the way we’re designed to thrive. I have always been into adventure sports, especially as a young person, and have gone through my own significant injuries throughout those years. I was taught early on to just “walk it off”, which taught me resilience, if nothing else.

However, as I get older, I realize now the deep compensations and very inefficient movement and processing patterns this wired into my system. I’m now getting to experience first hand how to unravel all of that and how to effectively solve problems as I solve my own first. This serves to provide a valuable vantage point to genuinely understand the challenges clients face and to serve them as a whole individual.

  • Superpowers For Good

    McDonough, GA

Lori has been in the Special Education field for the past 13 years. Ten of those years as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, Our World at H.O.P.E. Park - dedicated to the well-being and advancement of the special needs community.

At OWHP, Lori hosted events for the special needs community, fundraised, worked in conjunction with the City of McDonough to build a half million dollar all accessible, all-inclusive playground, created community awareness, and started a private school for children with special needs and learning disabilities. At this school, she started the ICONIX® program that integrated the neurological hierarchies of learning into the classrooms and saw amazing results!

As homeschool parents, Lori and her husband learned first-hand how challenging homeschooling can be! Not knowing what to do or where to begin, they had a lot to learn, particularly since they were dealing with a super smart child who was struggling with academics. It was during the homeschooling years that they discovered ICONIX®. When Lori started the school, she brought ICONIX® to the game – which really meant becoming a Developmental Educator, learning the natural neurological development of all humans and how to make sure that the child’s developmental maturation matched the academic demands being placed on the child. This understanding created a suddenly successful student out of her son years earlier, and consequently, out of several of the students at the special needs school.

Lori recently stepped out of her role at the school in 2022 to build her ICONIX® Learning Clinic in Atlanta and help create awareness of the ICONIX® methodology. You will often hear her tell the people in her community, “While I was at the school, I could help up to forty children each year. Now, the number of struggling learners I can help has become UNLIMITED! And THAT makes my heart happy!”

“Teach Thinking So Learning Becomes Simple”

The ICONIX educational model was originally developed by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, neuroscientists, psychologists, and educators. The model was inspired by the philosophies of the late Doctors Harry Wachs, Gerald Getman and Arnold Gesell. Matching task and timing with brain maturation hierarchies results in much better educational outcomes. Human neurodevelopment is a march to visual dominance, educational practices built to support visual learning produce much better outcomes. The ICONIX model is a highly successful. It has served as the basis of eight Michigan and two California public charter schools and multiple private schools throughout the country and beyond.

Michigan’s Best Educational Model.

Our visual learning model produced the highest percentage of student proficiency in both reading and math in a four year study conducted by Michigan State University and published by the Michigan Department of Education. The study included all Michigan's school districts over a four year period. The results were unequivocal, our instructional model utilized by Smart Schools, dominated all other methods as shown. We have proven that our model, based on the neuroscience of visual development, is the new standard in education.

Creating high quality schools is what we do best.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
